Who was Adam Johann von Krusenstern?

Krusenstern was a Baltic German traveler and an explorer. He was born in a small Estonian village Hagudi , near Rapla, on 10 October 1770. He led the first Russian circumnavigation of the globe together with Yuri Lisyansky.

He lived in the Hagudi Manor.

He lived his teenage years in Estonia. It's known that he went to a catholic sch0ol called Tallinna Toomkool. It's a school that still exists today and is in the capital city Tallinn, as you could probably guess from the name.

Later on in life, after he had traveled the world he came back to Estonia and settled in Kiltsi Manor. It is at Kiltsi, he drew the circumnavigation maps and that is also where he died. Kilsti Manor was occupied by the descendants of Adam Johann von Krusenstern until the early 20th Century.
