I wrote specifically about this journey because the it went through London, which is my favourite city in the world.

Between the journey from Kronstadt to Canary Islands, in 1803, they stopped in Denmark, Copenhagen and England, London. Their stop in Denmark's capital city involved replenishing stock on their ship, which included French cognac and taking on board a scientific team.

Due to severe storms nearby Skagerrak, the ships sail masts were damaged.

On September 23, Krusenstern took two men on board, Beresdorf and Horner to deliver them to London to carry out some business.

Their departure was delayed only because Rezanov (a Russian trader and part of the crew) had not returned from London, only arriving on October 5, which is when the ship was able to continue the journey and headed to the Canary Islands.

On October 19, they made it to Tenerife (part of the Canary Islands) where they met French privateers (private individuals commissioned to fight in a war) that were passing by between both of the ships. Their ships made it to Santa Cruz de Tenerife at 11 am on October 20; because of the rocky bottom of the sea, one ship got damaged.

The town of Santa Cruz on the island of Tenerife.
